What's The Difference between Angular Contact And Deep Groove Bearings?

1.Deep groove ball bearing:

Deep groove bearing is the most common type of rolling bearing.Mainly bear radial load,but also can bear radial load and axial load.When it is only subjected to radial load,the contact angle is zero.When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance,it has the performance of angular contact bearing and can withstand a large axial load, the friction coefficient of the deep groove ball bearing is very small, and the limit speed is also very high.

2.Angular contact ball bearings:

There is a contact angle between the ring and the ball,and the standard contact angle is 15/25 and 40 degrees.The larger the contact angle,the greater the axial load capacity,and the smaller the contact angle,the more conducive to high-speed rotation.Single-row bearings can bear radial load and unidirectional axial load,DB combination,DF combination and double-row angular contact ball bearings can bear radial load and bidirectional axial load.DT combination is suitable for unidirectional axial load is large,the rated load of a single bearing is insufficient occasions, high-speed ACH type bearings,small ball diameter,ball number,mostly used for machine tool spindle.In general,angular contact ball bearings are suitable for high-speed,high-precision rotating applications.

3.Deep groove ball bearings and angular contact ball bearings with the same inner and outer diameter and width sizes have the same inner ring size and structure,while the outer ring size and structure are different:

(1) The outer ring of the deep groove ball bearing has two shoulders on both sides of the groove,and the angular contact ball bearing is generally a single shoulder;

(2)The curvature of the outer ring of the deep groove ball bearing is different from that of the angular contact ball, and the latter is often greater than the former;

(3)The groove position of the outer ring of the deep groove ball bearing is different from that of the angular contact ball bearing,and the specific value of the non-central position is considered in the design of the angular contact ball bearing and is related to the degree of the contact Angle;

4.Application:

The two bearing applications are different,deep groove ball bearings are suitable for bearing radial force,small axial force,axial radial combined load and moment load,and angular contact ball bearings can bear a single radial load,a large axial load(with different contact angles),double pairing(with different pairing methods)can bear two-way axial load and moment load.

5.The limit speed is different,and the limit speed of angular contact ball bearings of the same size is higher than that of deep groove ball bearings.
